Damn I'm Good

My laptop died on Friday.  On Saturday, I got fed up with not having a computer.  Two hours and $16 worth of soldering equipment later, and my laptop works again.

What was wrong with it?

The charging socket was disconnected from the motherboard. It happened in stages, so it went from not charging if it were in a certain spot, then, as it got wiggled more and, to not charging unless it was held at a specific angle, to not charging unless it was taped in at a very precise angle, to finally not charging at all. I'm worried that the solder will break again, so I'm treating it very gently.
